Challenges in Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education and Pupils’ Academic Performance

The study aimed to determine the relationship between teachers challenges in mother tongue-based multilingual education and pupils academic performance its relationship. utilized a descriptive-correlational research design analyzed through mean standard deviation Pearson r correlation. A self-made questionnaire was used gather data, which validated inspected reliability test with use of Cronbachs alpha. Average quarterly grades for School Year 2022–2023 were pupils. total one hundred from four (4) schools West II district division Cagayan de Oro City took part study. revealed that teaching learning process preparation resources are not significant performance. It also found training development have Thus, this proves resilient dealing challenges, does hinder them performing their tasks provide quality need.
